He Deserved It
…and who’s to say he didn’t.
Each character I paint is a force of her own, empowered, in control, and unafraid to say no.
Using the classic noir palette of black, white, and red, I create narratives with white strokes of acrylic on black canvases. The stark contrasts and deep shadows are more than just aesthetics—they reflect the layers of these women’s lives, inviting you to see beyond the surface.
This is one of my favourite pieces.
